Retail Agent T Log
The T-Log (Task Log) records and generates a time stamped list of specific servicing functions on retail agents. Elements recorded are:
- Task
- Operation
- Retail Agent Name
- Policy #
- Memo
- User Name
- User Rights
- Date / Time
Important: When navigating through Nexsure using links in the T-Log, the Utility and Primary menu items highlighted do not reflect the path to the screen that is displayed.
There are three T-Log areas in Nexsure total, at three different levels:
- There is a T-LOG link on the Client menu, which displays activity being accessed on the client level. When accessing the T-Log from the Client menu, all user actions associated
with that client are displayed.
- The T-Log tab under SETUP > Security Administration, which displays activity conducted on the Nexsure site by all staff members. When
accessing the T-Log from the SETUP > Security Administration screen, all
staff member actions are displayed.
- The Retail Agent level by clicking T-LOG on the Retail Agent menu. The Retail Agent level T-Log gives a record of operations that were performed specific to the selected retail agent.
To Navigate to the Retail Agent-Level T-Log
- On the Primary menu, click SEARCH. The search tab is displayed.
- Search for the appropriate retail agent and click the Details
icon next to that client. The Retail Agent menu is displayed.
- On the Retail Agent menu, click T-LOG. The retail agent T-Log tab is displayed.
- On the T-Log tab, there are several options for working with the results:
- Showing Page: The Arrow
icons can be used to navigate through pages of search results.

- Page List: Click the Page List
arrow to open a list of all search results pages. Select the desired page number to open that page of search results.

[Export]: Click [Export] to export a copy of the T-Log summary to an .xls file. The data can then be sorted using Microsoft® Excel® functions.
- Filter: Click the [Show] or [Hide] link to reveal or hide the Search Criteria and Paging and Sorting panels. The following options are available on the Search Criteria and Paging and Sorting panels:
- Task: Enter the task type to return results that include all tasks for a retail agent. Enter at least two characters to narrow the search results. Entering some of the task type returns a broader result, enter most of the task type for more specific results.
- Policy No: Enter the policy number to return results that include all tasks for a retail agent. Enter at least two characters to narrow the search results. Entering some of the policy number returns a broader result, enter most of the policy number for more specific results.
- Date Time From: Click the Calendar
icon to select the beginning date in a date range. A date range can be selected to return all operations in the date range.
- Operation: Enter the title of the operation performed to return results that include all tasks for a retail agent. Enter at least two characters to narrow the search results. Entering some of the operation title returns a broader result, enter most of the operation title for more specific results.
- Memo: Enter the memo text to return results that include all tasks for a retail agent. Enter at least two characters to narrow the search results. Entering some of the memo returns a broader result, enter most of the memo for more specific results.
- Date Time To: Click the Calendar
icon to select the ending date in a date range. A date range can be selected to return all tasks in the date range.
- Retail Agent Name: Enter the Retail Agent Name to return results that include all tasks with the Retail Agent Name. Enter at least two characters to narrow the search results. Entering some of the Retail Agent Name returns a broader result, enter most of the Retail Agent Name for more specific results.
Tip: At the retail agent level, the Retail Agent Name field will be set to the name of the name of the retail agent entity that is currently accessed. When accessing T-Log from the SETUP > Security Administration level, the Retail Agent Name list will be available to select a specific retail agent.
- User Name: Enter the User Name to return results that include all tasks with the User Name. Enter at least two characters to narrow the search results. Entering some of the User Name returns a broader result, enter most of the User Name for more specific results.
- User Rights: Enter the User Rights title to return results that include all operations with the user right entered. Enter at least two characters to narrow the search results. Entering some of the User Rights title returns a broader result, enter most of the User Rights title for more specific results.
- Sort By Name: Select a column heading from the Sort By Name list. The search results will be sorted by the column selected in the Sort By Name list. The available selections are:
- Sort By Direction: Select either Ascending or Descending to set the order of the operations returned. Ascending will set the order from A-Z. Descending will set the order from Z-A.
- Clear: Click Clear to remove all entries in the Search Criteria and Paging and Sorting fields.
- Search: Click Search. The results of the Search Criteria and Paging and Sorting settings are displayed.
- Once a search has been run, the Details
icon is displayed next to each line item. Click the Details
icon to access the page on which the task took place.
Tip: The T-Log archives older entries every quarter. When searching for older T-Log entries, enter search criteria with the appropriate dates. If the filter is simply cleared, only entries from the current quarter up to 100 pages will be returned.
Important: The Details
icon, when clicked will open the page on which the task took place. The page may not contain the same information as when the task took place as the most current version of the page is displayed. If the item has been deleted or aborted, the Details
icon will be unavailable.
